Before and After Care Program (CARES)
Saint Patrick School offers working parents and guardians an optional before and after school care program. This program is called CARES, which stands for Children Are Receiving Extended Service.
The CARES program offers professional care, supervision, recreation, and enrichment activities for children enrolled in Pre-K through Grade Eight. Pre-school children must be potty trained to be enrolled.
This professionally operated program allows children to experience computer fun, arts and craft projects, games and recreation, and rest time for younger children. Students in grades 3-8th also have time set aside to complete homework. Within a family-like environment, the program strives to provide individual attention, security, consistency and caring treatment for all children.
Cares is open 6:45 - 5:30 on regularly scheduled school days.
The CARES program is staffed by an experienced director, who is assisted by additional staff based on enrollment. Fees are the sole support of the CARES program, as it is not subsidized by the school or parish.
For more information or to register for CARES contact the school office at (717) 249-4826.
To contact the CARES classroom regarding currently enrolled children, call (717) 249-4826, ext. 209.
